How we started.
Founded in October 2006 by Jerry Becerra, CPCU, Heffernan Barbary Insurance Services is an independent insurance broker in the San Francisco Bay Area. At a time when small independent insurance agencies are being absorbed by larger institutions, we believe that there is a need for smaller agencies that have personal connections with their clients. The staff members at Heffernan Barbary Insurance Services each bring a different set of skills to help our clients and work as a team to provide personal service.
